Yoshy’s Brief Updates to my Friends at Home and Abroad

Sunday, December 23rd was His Imperial Majesty (H.I.M.) Akihito, the 125th Emperor’s Birthday. R and I began making a year-end house-cleaning. It’s quite impossible for us to finish doing it in a day! It was sleighing with *sporadic snow outside all day long.

When I got up the next day, 25th (Tue), it was clear and very cold, 0 outside. Though people in Hokkaido might laugh at us, a snow-country here seldom has below zero.

*sporadic [spərˈædɪk](a) 散発性の、時折の

The regalia represent the three primary virtues: valor (the sword), wisdom (the mirror), and benevolence (the jewel).” (From Wikipedia)
